Rates and Insurance
Rates
$350 per initial 2-hour assessment
$150 per 50-minute session
$75 per 20-minute session
additional rates available upon request
Insurance
Please be aware that fees for services are your primary responsibility at the time of the appointment, however Dr. Pois's office will provide you the necessary forms for the filing of your insurance claim. Some services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover per year?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is prior-authorization required from the insurance company to cover all or a portion of the service?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Payment
Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment and requested at the time of appointment.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not attend your scheduled therapy appointment, and do not notify office staff prior to the appointment, you will be required to pay the full rate for the session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged half of the rate for the session. Cancellations must be communicated via phone (e-mail cancellations are not acceptable)
